Last week of this year summer holidays will be very busy for COP 14 delegates. On the 21st of August the last session of the Ad Hoc Working Meetings preceding COP 14 will be held in the capital city of Ghana – Accra Climate Change Talks 2008.

That is how Nowy Świat is going to look like: instead of asphalt – grass. August 31st is the only chance for a barefoot walk on the main Warsaw promenade. The decoration prepared for this occasion will symbolize climate change process.

Accommodation in Poznań for conference participants (for Parties, registered observers and accredited media only) is administrated by central accommodation operator: World Trade Center Poznań. The city and the surrounding area has diverse and large scale accommodation capacity. In total the capacity for about 8100 participants exists in the city and up to 60 km.

Exhibition
The interactive exposition will present: the most important and spectacular practical examples of already working installations, mechanisms, equipments or whole technologies which are climate friendly and can be transferred successfully to other countries. Proposed exposition would present:
- inventions, technological and organizational innovations to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions
- examples of successful transfer of specific technologies and their propagation in the developing countries
- specific examples of activities aiming at the adaptation to climate changes
